Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health and Community
Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health and Community Services (WNAHCS) is an Aboriginal community controlled primary health care service operated by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community of the ACT.
WNAHCS’ aim is to provide a culturally safe, holistic health care service for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of the ACT and surrounding regions. The holistic health care provided by WNAHCS includes not only medical care, but a range of programs to promote good health and healthy lifestyles.
The school collaborates with WNAHCS on cultural days of significance, Cultural Connections and referrals to their culturally safe, holistic health care services.
